Yasmin grew up in Albury and relocated to Melbourne to undertake her medical degree through Monash University. She went on to work at Monash Health and Eastern Health in range of areas including general medicine, emergency medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics & gynaecology, and psychiatry. Enjoying the variety, Yasmin pursued a career in general practice. She completed her GP training in the western suburbs of Melbourne, gaining Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2019. Yasmin is also able to provide shared care to pregnant patients through Mercy Hospital and Eastern Health (Box Hill and Angliss Hospital).

Outside of her work, Yasmin enjoys good food and the outdoors, and is kept busy by her two young children.
