CONSULTATION FEES REGULARLY CHARGED BY YOUR DOCTOR
All the doctors consulting at Diamond Valley Clinic operate private practices and consultation costs are to be settled on the day of the consultation. Please ask reception current fees charged by your doctor. Fees charged by your doctor will vary depending on the length and complexity of the consultation. Procedures, medical consumables and some vaccinations will incur further fees.
Your doctor will offer discounted fees to those patients who hold a valid health care card, pension card or concession card.
We understand that this can be hard due to the increased cost of living and we have tried to minimize the increase to our fees. Currently the Australian Medical Association (AMA) recommends a fee more that $20 higher than our new standard consultation fee and more than $60 higher than our long consultation fee. We encourage you to speak to your local member of parliament to advocate to increase your Medicare rebates and to stop the funding cuts to general practices.
